Our first post-Covid cruise in the US. Itinerary has changed many times. Itinerary had changed many time for the best! Departing from Miami, Florida. Stops at Roatan, Honduras - Cozumel, Mexico - CocoCay and Nassau, Bahamas
As Covid situation is becoming really bad in Europe, and as travel restrictions might become worst, we decided once again to stay two more weeks in Florida, to make the junction with our next trip.
We were supposed to fly back home on December 13th. On our way back, we had a long connexion in London. As the Covid situation was becoming really bad in London, and as many new restriction where appearing every days to transit in London, we asked BA it it was possible to get for free a direct flight from the US to Paris.
They proposed us a direct flight from Miami do Paris on December 24th for a very small fee. So we stayed 10 more days, and flew to Orlando.
Our first post-pandemic trip to the US. We're using a few airplane tickets we had to postpone during the travel ban. We'll spend a few days in Las Vegas, Nevada - a few hours in Dallas, Texas, and a week in Honolulu, Hawaii. As the covid situation was bad, we decides to stay a few more days in the US. So we added Los Angeles, and Palm Springs (California) and Orlando and Miami (Florida)
Finally back on an Atlantis Cruise ! For this first post Covid cruise, Norvegian Jade will sail from Athens, Greece. This ship will stop in Heraklion, Rhodes, Santorini, Katacolon, Corfu, and Mykonos.
This year, Paris Gaypride was really successful. An impressive crowd marched from Pantin to Republique. Due to the pandemic, there was a very limited number of floats. People were happy! We took all the Photos and videos from the same place. First, near Gare du nord, where some people were playing good music from their apartment, then we move backwards 200 meters, and we stopped on the bridge over Gare de l'est rail tracks.
Disneyland Paris reopens on June 17th, 2021 at 9:30am. It has closed its doors on October 29th, 2021 at 8:00pm. We were there. Seven months later, we feel very lucky to be invited for a 'premiere grand reopening' two days before the official grand re-opening.
All our trips have been stopped by the Covid crisis.
We were supposed to fly to New Zealand end of February to sail from Auckland to Sydney onboard Atlantis cruise. Our flight from Paris to Auckland had a stop in Hong Kong. 3 days before takeoff, Holland America decided to ban all passengers with a stop in Hong Kong. Impossible to reroute our flights, so we had to cancel the cruise and Sydney Mardi Gras. This said, we were really starting to worry beginning of February, as the Covid crises was really scary.
Then Atlantis cancelled Caribbean cruise in March.
We had to cancel our trip to Orlando, Florida for gaydays end of May.
In July, we had a booking on The Cruise (aka La Demence cruise). Cancelled as well. Just after, we were suposed to fly from Rome to Amsterdam to sail with Atlantis from Amsterdam to Barcelona. But Atlantis cancelled as well.
Finally our last trip planned was in August with Atlantis for a cruise starting in Barcelona.
